New Trailer and eBook Release for Stephen Zimmer's Heart of a Lion!

Seventh Star Press is proud to unveil the new video trailer for Heart of a Lion, the new novel from Stephen Zimmer and Book One of the Dark Sun Dawn Trilogy.  The eBook version is available today!  Links to the Kindle, Nook, and Kobo versions are below the trailer.

The new novel is Stephen's 10th book release and the first one starring Rayden Valkyrie, who first appeared in the short story "All the Lands, Nowhere a Home" in the Thunder on the Battlefield: Sword anthology.  Heart of a Lion had Scott Sandridge as editor and Bonnie Wasson created the cover art.

Cover Reveal for Eric Garrison's Me and the Devil! New Bonnie Wasson Art!

Seventh Star Press is proud to reveal the new cover art and illustrations created by Bonnie Wasson for the new Eric Garrison novel, Me and the Devil, Book 3 of the Road Ghosts Trilogy!

Me and the Devil will be launched in softcover format at the creative writing convention Imaginarium 2014, but will be made available in eBook formats just before the event taking place the September 19-21 weekend in Louisville Kentucky.

Finishing the paranormal and urban fantasy series, Me and the Devil brings back everyone's favorite crew from Four 'Til Late and Sinking Down. As with the previous two installments, this book features new interior illustrations from Bonnie Wasson.

A special video was created by Bonnie capturing the creation of the first illustration, which is shown here:

In regards to the theme of The End Was Not the End: Post Apocalyptic Fantasy Tales:

Heroes prevail… usually.

You sit close to a campfire, depending on its faint, flickering light to ward off the darkness. Yet the fire cannot hold back dark memories, thoughts of your fallen kingdom, of monsters across the land, of magic gone awry. Around fires like yours are seated other travelers, refugees from catastrophes none dare mention. Kings and queens huddle shoulder to shoulder with peasants, wizards share scraps with slaves, and each wishes only to be saved. Some will be lucky, for heroes yet remain in their lands. For others, hope was not among the provisions stuffed into a pack when fleeing home.

Eventually the silence of the night grows too heavy, and someone speaks. They tell a tale of loss, of foolish pride and tragic mistake. With bravery stoked by company, others speak up, each sharing their own sorrows.  Before long, there are enough tales to fill a volume. The conversations continue through the night, and by the time dawn has filtered through the gnarled tree limbs, journeys must continue, and one by one, the strangers trudge away. Seventh Star Press is proud to reveal the new cover art from Bonnie Wasson for the highly-anticipated Between Dark and Light, D.A. Adams' fourth book in the acclaimed Brotherhood of Dwarves Series.  The editor for the new fantasy novel was Philip Hopkins, who handled the editing duties for the previous title in the series, The Fall of Dorkhun.

Between Dark and Light continues the adventures of the dwarf Roskin, and the stakes have never been greater.  The Great Empire has surrounded the Kiredurks and are preparing to conquer the kingdom, but unknown to them, Kwarck, the mysterious hermit of the plains, has his own plan in action. To the east, he has summoned an elven army and charged Crushaw with leading them into battle. To the south, Roskin will gather an army from the fractured Ghaldeon lands. Sullivan, as well as announce sites and dates for the book's blog tour. A pre-order window for a limited edition hardcover is also open in advance of the book's official release.

The Haunting Obsession Blog Tour will feature 22 events, beginning August 25th and running through September 15th. The tour will feature a number of activities, including reviews, interviews, podcasts, guest blog posts, and contests/giveaways.

Haunting Obsession is the latest R.J. Sullivan story featuring the character Rebecca Burton. The novella tells the story of Daryl Beasley, who collects all things Maxine Marie, whose famous curves and fast lifestyle made her a Hollywood icon for decades after her tragic death. Seventh Star Press proudly announces a four book deal with author R.J. Sullivan, making him the seventh author to come aboard the publisher's main roster.

The addition of R.J. Sullivan comes close after Seventh Star Press' strongest year yet, during which titles such as Jackie Gamber's Redheart and Michael West's Cinema of Shadows received excellent critical reception, and the artwork featured by the press also received increased recognition, as Matthew Perry recently won Top Cover Art in the 2011 Tor.com Readers Choice Awards for his cover art on Stephen Zimmer's The Seventh Throne.

The first title to be released by Seventh Star Press, Haunting Obsession, tells the story of Daryl Beasley. Daryl collects all things Maxine Marie, whose famous curves and fast lifestyle made her a Hollywood icon for decades after her tragic death. Daryl's girlfriend, Loretta Stevens, knew about his geeky lifestyle when they started dating, but she loves him, quirks and all.

Then one day Daryl chooses to buy a particularly tacky piece of memorabilia instead of Loretta's birthday present. Daryl ends up in the doghouse, not only with Loretta, but with Maxine Marie herself. A member of the Indiana Horror Writers, R. J. Sullivan resides with his family in Heartland Crossing, Indiana. His first novel, Haunting Blue, is an edgy paranormal thriller about punk girl loner Fiona "Blue" Shaefer and her boyfriend Chip Farren.

R.J. is hard at work on the next chapter in Fiona's story, Virtual Blue, which will be released in 2013, followed by two more novels over the course of 2013 and 2014.

Seventh Star Press proudly announces The Fall of Dorkhun, Book Three of the Brotherhood of Dwarves series by D.A. Adams.

The Fall of Dorkhun is now available for pre-order in both limited edition hardcover and softcover versions, both of which include special packages of collectibles. The limited edition hardcover run of 75 signed and numbered copies marks the newest addition to a growing line of affordable, high quality hardcover editions published by Seventh Star Press. The limited edition hardcover features an exclusive illustration commission not found in any other version, as well as a special signature page and unique ISBN number.

The Fall of Dorkhun also marks the debut of Seventh Star Press' newest artist, Bonnie Wasson. Bonnie created the cover art and illustrations for The Fall of Dorkhun, as well as for the forthcoming reissues of book one and book two in the series, The Brotherhood of Dwarves, and Red Skies at Dawn. The Fall of Dorkuhn continues the story of the dwarf Roskin. In the newest adventure of the series, Roskin returns home to a kingdom divided by war with the ogres. On one side, his father desires to restore peace, but on the other, Master Sondious, seeking revenge for having been crippled, seeks to escalate aggression against the ogres Roskin and his friends make a desperate attempt to resolve the growing rift, but unknown to the dwarves, new and powerful menaces threaten to destroy the entire kingdom...

Living and working in East Tennessee, D. A. Adams is an established novelist, a farmer, a professor of English, and has contributed writing to literary as well as fine art publications. He also maintains an active blog, entitled "The Ramblings of D. A. Adams".

Limited edition hardcover and special softcover collectors packages include an assortment of collectible extras, such as a 14X20 art poster, bookmarks, a set of glossy art cards, a magnet, and a pair of buttons.
